The finished size is roughly an 8 inch tall octopal that can be weighted, non weighted, or just a little weighted (fan favorite!). This is a personal custom toy that you will not be able to find ANYWHERE at a big box store, making this the ultimate special keepsake gift.

Then, mail your freshly laundered articles of clothing to the mailing address provided via email communication, and I will review the items to start designing the perfect keepsake octopal for you. Text & Email “check ins” will be sent to confirm you like the patterns & ideas I design before ANY fabric is cut. If you APPROVE the design concept, construction will then begin & the final octopal will be mailed back to you along with any articles of clothing that were not cut up.
If you would like embroidery on your custom octopal- there is an additional charge of $15

Want to add something special to your project? We outsource * ALL* our embroidery to our good friend at DunRite Designs. Every single item you see on our site with embroidery has been completely by Chris, owner of DunRite Designs. His attention to detail, precision, and unlimited color supply of specialty threads & design knowledge, literally blows our socks off he’s so good! So any additional embroidery for your custom item goes through him starting at just $15.

Our Wash, Fluff, + Stuff Refurb ($20) is suggested if your toy has any matted hair, dingy color or smell, is looking a little too flat in certain areas where fluff or polybeads have either leaked out or flattened out, and your toy looks like it needs a little TLC. Note that this is an additional cost to any toy surgeries. *HIGHLY recommended for toys over 5+ years old.

Custom toys & blankets are the PERFECT way to capture your memories & turn them into a tangible, huggable keepsake for years to come, (and secretly they’re the FUNNEST thing for us to design!) Every custom is completely different so the creativity is ENDLESS for your special project.
Customs require a considerable amount of thoughtful, creative decision making. Think of your custom order as a puzzle… certain pieces simply do not fit well next to one another. It is our job to figure out the puzzle to create a beautiful, well balanced custom that you are over the moon happy with.
Iron-on stabilizer needs to be added to all custom fabric to provide strength & structure. Most articles of clothing are too thin to be used as is, so this is a CRUCIAL step in the process. When dealing with precious fabric, meticulous planning & thoughtfulness of design are highly considered.
Here’s an example of a customer who wanted a blanket, but then added an octopal after. Take a look at the detail & precision in which VERY specific cuts are required to achieve the best possible design & cohesiveness with colors, & patterns.
Once you’re ready to begin a custom, you’ll be asked to wash all the potential articles of clothing & mail your freshly laundered items to the mailing address provided via email communication. Once I receive your package in the mail, the design process can officially begin, Yay!
